In order to embed a macro in a cut do the following:

1. Right click on the cut and choose "Edit Macros"

2. On the Macro Editor screen click the yellow folder on the bottom left hand side

 3. Navigate to the Macros folder in the category structure. As an example, for The Current's ID macro choose Categories -> The Current -> Macros. Choose the macro labeled "Current ID Trigger Macro" and click "OK"

 

4. You should now see the macro on the left side of the screen with appropriate configurations filled into the right hand of the screen. Click "OK" to save the association

 

5. The cut's icon should now have changed to include an orange macro symbol over the speaker icon. This means each time this cut is fired the corresponding macro action will be triggered.
